TLILIC0004 Licence to operate an order picking forklift truck
Tom Price and Sons conduct TLILIC0004 Order Picking Forklift Courses (forklift licensing) and training on site (we do not have an order picker at our premises).
INTRODUCTION:
Order picking forklifts are used in warehouse situations and are different to forklift trucks. They have a unit set of operation which requires formalised training.
AIMS:
To provide participants with the knowledge and understanding to operate these machines safely and with confidence. By the end of this course the participants should be able to:
PRE REQUISITE
Necessary minimum age of 18 years. Ability to speak and write English to a basic level and mid level mathematics is required. For more information contact TPS for details.
DURATION:
1 Day - Maximum of 3 people
2 Days - Maximum of 6 people.
EXPECTED MODES OF DELIVERY:
This course is delivered face to face by our qualified Trainers/Assessors. Training can be conducted at our Training facility or we can come to your premises or onsite. This course is skill based and will cover all aspects of the machinery being trained in both written using course notes/dvd’s and case studies combined with practical components. RPL is also available upon request. Please speak to our admin team to see if you qualify.
ASSESSMENT:
On completion of training and revision, participants will be required to demonstrate their practical skills. They will also be required to complete a written assessment. Individuals who wish can be assessed for a WorkSafe "National Certificate of Competency" and a statement of attainment in:

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR FORKLIFT COURSES:
Order Picker will be required for use for 4 hrs on 1 day course. For 2 day course will be required for 4hrs day 1 all of day 2.
THIS COURSE IS ACCREDITED WITH WORKSAFE WA. TOM PRICE AND SONS ARE ACCREDITED ASSESSORS.
Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a Risk Work Licence (HRWL) to operate this plant, which is issued by WorkSafe WA.
